As part of Spanish Point’s Copilot Champions series, we spoke with Jagruti Patil, our champion for Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio, to explore how she uses Microsoft Copilot to streamline her own daily work. Jagruti shared how Copilot has become her personal assistant, helping her complete individual tasks faster and with greater accuracy.
Copilot has become my personal assistant.
“At Spanish Point, my role as a Copilot Champion centres on driving the adoption and strategic use of Microsoft Copilot, particularly across Microsoft 365, the Power Platform, and Copilot Studio,” Jagruti explains.
“I work closely with both internal teams and our clients to explore how AI can improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall user experience across different business functions.”
Through workshops, demos, and training sessions, she helps people understand what Copilot can really do. She also supports the creation of custom Copilot solutions in Copilot Studio, making sure they meet governance policies and are tailored to specific business needs.
Daily Productivity Gains, Powered by AI
“Copilot has become my personal assistant, helping me every day across Microsoft 365, the Power Platform, and Copilot Studio.”
In Microsoft 365, she uses Copilot to summarise long email threads, draft client proposals, create user guides, and capture action points from meetings, helping her juggle multiple client projects without losing important details.
On the Power Platform, she’s noticed a major shift in the time it takes to develop new apps.
“By using Copilot to generate the initial app layout or flow from a natural language prompt, and then refining the logic manually, I can complete in hours what might have taken me days if I was building it from scratch,” she explains.
Her experience reflects findings from Microsoft’s own research with early adopters, which found that Copilot saves users an average of 14 minutes per day, with 22% saving more than 30 minutes daily1. Across a year, those minutes add up to meaningful time back for high-value work. Whether that’s faster app development, more time for strategic planning, or reducing backlog on critical tasks.
With Copilot Studio, she creates custom copilots connected to enterprise data sources such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Dataverse, ensuring each solution meets strict governance standards while being tailored to the client’s needs.
Jagruti’s Top 5 Prompts to Boost Personal Productivity
“One feature I think everyone should use is Copilot’s capability to extract and summarise insights from your organisational data,” she says. “It is not limited to Teams. It works across all your data from Outlook, OneDrive, draft documents, and even meeting transcripts.”
